Words for missing type exhibition

We are very excited to be part of the exhibition 足りない活字のためのことば - Words for missing type in Japan from 1 October.

Using limited types found at a printer in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, 12 poets were asked to create poems. 6 printmakers made images to accompany some of these poems.

Exhibition runs from 1 October - 2 November.

There will be a reading session and talk by the poets and printmakers on 12 October at the gallery.
